Like a stud, he shakes off the trauma from a potentially near death experience, trots over to the chalk tray and gets right back on the bar in the next video (#10) a minute later like a programmed machine. As serious as it could have been, hopefully he didn’t hurt himself so we can consider it humorous. I think it will go down in Penn State history as a classic routine with a sense of humor thrown in. Maybe the gymnast and I can make some extra beer and pizza money on this video by having it play on Americas Funniest Videos, or the local city TV, college newspaper/video or something similar. I told him I could post it on youtube within hours but he did not seem amused by that idea so I hope he understands that there is no harm intended and in time he’ll see the potential world success and popularity it could bring him. However I make no guarantee on that far fetched idea. Perhaps the Gymnast can contact me and we can include his side of the story and an element by element script of his routine.
