Os Vídeos Mais Incríveis do Mundo Onda gigante

It’s not news that the conventional entertainment industry is in trouble; there is falling viewership for prime time TV and people are just not as interested in what the local newspaper has to tell about world events as they used to be. The reason probably is access to the powerful tool called the internet. While the internet challenged through the vast knowledgebase it provided, now it challenges through visual entertainment as well. Of all the segments of the World Wide Web, the online video industry is one of the fastest growing forms of entertainment as well as marketing.
The organized entertainment industry of our time now faces new challenges everyday from the rapidly growing online video networks. Not only are these networks run by the organized industries of yesteryears that have realized the new trend and adjusted, social networks like YouTube and Yahoo’s Video sharing are the order of the day.
Social networks like MySpace and Facebook are throwing up videos from unknown bands that are making it big without actually spending the hundreds of dollars our music ’stars’ spend on their videos. Those who are going along with the trend are not only growing in numbers but also in popularity since its no longer a matter of going out to buy a record, its about a few clicks and the video is yours to watch.
Surely the internet has its own culture, people from all around the world meet and talk here, the culture is a mix of who holds on to his values firmly or who impresses a value upon the other, but how are online videos changing our overall attitude? There is a huge web of video sharing and peer to peer sharing over the internet that is challenging the copyrights protected industry. Google, and YouTube via Google, are facing a lawsuit that would perhaps set the trend for what is, and what is not, legally acceptable with social networks sharing videos from copyrights protected mediums.
Similarly, not so long back Digg faced the power of the social networks when they decided to cover up the HD-DVD encryption keys their loyal visitors were sharing to prevent copyright infringements. The move gave them a demo of the people’s power within their own social network when there was a huge outcry by the users. They learned that you either go along with what your viewership wants or they switch to another base…yup, we are spoiled for choice! Consequently, Digg announced it would go down fighting if its fan base wanted that…they are back to sharing HD-DVD keys and the drama continues with challenge thrown up to those that have creative rights to their content.
Also, there is the change in our general manner of taking input. While we can assert that the value of ‘text’ has not, and will not, go down the change in our reading habits from reading to scanning text has already taken place. We no longer have the patience for long drawn out arguments; we’d rather click and be off to the next web destination if the argument gets to be tedious. The same is a huge power in the hands of the people now, the online video industry asserts with the quick ads and swift entertainment the impact visuals can make. Not only is the entertainment industry feeling the sting of this power in the hands of the individual, the advertising industry, travel industry and even real estate agents are now converting to the use of visual clips with their text marketing. The area is vast, ready for exploration and new developments. And with the cheap digital video cameras available and cell-phones galore, the online video industry is going to give the traditionalists a run for their money.
While all looks good, it certainly isn’t that rosy. The impact video industry is making is one that is thrilling to watch but you do not want to become a part of it at the wrong moment. Be sure to watch out for the mobile phones around you, protect yourself from videos you do not want to see of yourself, or would not be comfortable showing friends, family or your current/future spouse. One man’s hilarious joke can be an embarrassment for another, and easier still, it’s available for all to view at a click!
Selling With Video

“If I could give only one piece of advice to technical marketers everywhere, it would be this: Show me, don’t tell me” – Jon Udell
If you’re an ardent follower of new trends to hit the Internet, you would have noticed a revolutionary change in the way messages are getting across the Internet. There are fewer words, and more motion pictures. It is the great video revolution and according to experts, this revolution is still in its infancy.
Everyone loves a good video clipping. The search engines certainly love it, marketers are going crazy about it and viewers find they relate more to what they see on videos. Little wonder that businesses that are using the power of the video to sell are thriving like never before.
Surveys show that video reviews convert at 3-5 times the rate of text reviews.
Videos on the internet are being viewed by more than a billion users everyday! YouTube and MySpace are among the top five most frequented sites on the Internet, thanks to their video content. Video is making such a massive impact that products worth $100 billions and more are being sold through video reviews.
In case you are new to this phenomenon, you may be wondering how you can unleash the power of the video on your website, so you too can start selling with video.
Suppose you have a product to sell. You can use your video to convert casual visitors to hot prospects and returning customers. Here are some neat tricks to help you sell online through your video:
A picture is worth a thousand words, so what’s a video worth? Show your product in action. Your prospects won’t need further convincing.
Find out a way to demonstrate your prospect’s particular problem, and show them how your product can solve the issue. For instance, if you are selling an ebook on training dogs, show how you have used certain techniques to make your dog sit, stay and fetch on command.
Show video testimonials of happy customers. Nothing does a better job at convincing an unsure client than the experiences of someone else. Video testimonials can hike your sales by more than 20%!
Use your video to capture email addresses of hot prospects, so you can continue to market to them even after they have logged off. Research shows that it takes up to 7 contact with a prospect before they take an active interest in your business deal.
Use videos to explain your business structure. This is particularly effective in case you are into affiliate marketing because many customers find it difficult to grasp some of the complex marketing structures used in network marketing.
Feature a Vlog on your site. A Vlog is something similar to a Blog, only it’s a video adaptation of the message.
On the Internet, a video is the closest your prospect gets to deal with you face to face. A video that is produced cleverly and packaged professionally conveys immediacy and lends immediacy to your selling program.
Selling with Video - Our video testimonials put your best customers on your website, talking in real terms about their personal, positive experiences with your company. Our videos are extraordinarily effective, efficient, and affordable!
Despite his very tight schedule, Jared Padalecki, one of the leads in the CW paranormal series Supernatural, found time to sit down and do an exclusive interview with BuddyTV. Not only was he busy filming then, during breaks he was constantly on the phone trying to coordinate his travel plans.
First he was asked about the other genres he was considering apart from horror, where he is most known for at the moment. The 6’3 actor revealed there are a lot of genres he would like to explore, but it would depend on both what the industry is bent on doing and what kind of offers comes his way. He specifically mentioned being interested in doing westerns. After all, he is from Texas , along with co-star Jensen Ackles.
According to him, he would like to do comedy if it was offered to him, though he had doubts whether he was funny or not. Regarding this, Supernatural fans were quick to point out that Padalecki is in fact quite hilarious, citing several episodes where he made them laugh. He summed up that while he was having fun doing horror, he’d love to branch out and try other things.
He then revealed that one of the Supernatural episodes he is most proud of is “Heart” from season 2 and “Mystery Spot” from season 3. He said both were “Sam-heavy” and was very difficult to film. In “Heart” the brothers investigated a murder that turned out to be committed by a werewolf, and Padalecki had to do a love scene with the victim’s secretary. It was very tricky for him, he said, as he is already engaged to his girlfriend of three years.
“It just feels weird walking around in your underwear around people that you’ve known for three years. That was a strange episode,” he said.

For thousands of years going back to the Ancient Egyptians, cats have been put on public display. But the first cat shows in the United States, held in Maine, didn’t appear until between 1860 and 1870. Finally, in 1895, a show clawed its way into New York City, hosted in Madison Square Garden.
Badoop-badoop! Fast-forward to the present: Cat clubs and cat fancy organizations are everywhere, holding local, state and national shows in every part of the country. And no wonder: If you search YouTube, either online or on your TV with your TiVo HD DVR, it’s very clear that you don’t have to be a cat breeder to be easily amused and entertained by the very funny videos featuring endless breeds of cats–from hilarious cat bloopers to just cute cat behaviour. But what’s missing from most of these viral videos are a the cat fanciers themselves, who regularly travel across the country attending cat shows. Talk about a special breed of PEOPLE! Perhaps you’re familiar with the crazy cat lady on some of The Simpsons episodes? I guess they’re not all THAT crazy–are they?
So… I went to Pleasanton, California with a very clear mission: to find out just how crazy people can get about cats–and, while I was there, to learn out how well they know their famous felines of Film and Television with our very first Badoop-Badoop Cat Quiz!
What better place to get a close-up perspective of the cat fancier lifestyle than the Crow Canyon Cat Show! I couldn’t believe all the cats I saw: Siamese cats, known for their legendary voice and captivating blue eyes; Persian cats, with their long flowing coats and open pansy-like faces; Himalayan cats, actually a Persian cat with the color pattern of a Siamese cat (who knew?!); the Egyptian Mau, which were worshiped as deities in ancient Egypt; the remarkably dense and muscular Tonkinese; Burmese cats, often described as “bricks wrapped in silk”; Exotic cats that look like a Persian but have short hair; Siberian cats, which history shows have been around for at least one thousand years; Sphynx cats, which are the most famous of the hairless cats, and probably made most popular in recent years by Doctor Evil from the Austin Powers movies; and Abyssinian cats, one of the oldest known breeds on this planet. One of my favorites was a plump Russian Blue Cat with a plush double coat similar to a beaver–gorgeous!
What a spectacle, these fancy cat shows! Cat toys are everywhere, grooming stations and supplies to style and fluff abound, and the large crates where the cats are displayed are decorated with animal prints, feather boas and more! In preparation for the show, cats are bathed, nails clipped, and ears cleaned. And some cats are more “high-maintenance” than others. A longhaired cat requires much more effort than a shorthaired cat and, if shown on a regular basis, must be bathed weekly and combed twice daily! What divas!
Here are a few grooming tricks I learned while I was there: By fluffing up the hair on top of a cat’s head, you can modify the appearance of large ears; to make a cat’s tail appear shorter, trim the excess hair at the end of the tail; to give the kitty a rounded look, clip the hair around the face; and to make their eyes look rounder, cut the hair over the eyes; finally, to make the cat’s neck look thicker or shorter, just comb out its ruff so that it stands out to frame its face. Do you think our favorite Hollywood stars heed any of this advice?
Even though our breeders didn’t get every answer correct in our Cat Quiz, it’s clear that these folks clearly know and love their cats. I got a particular kick out of the fact that while that the show manager assured me that cat people are not crazy, the club’s treasurer told me that the difference between cat owners and dog owners is that Dogs have “Masters,” and Cats have “Staff.”
Good thing we documented all of the cattiness on video so you can see for yourself: Watch the cat show, learn about famous felines on film & TV, and laugh at some of the funniest cats we found on YouTube.
